Advanced Scalp, in conjunction with Meraki Beauty Bar, offers a comprehensive 4-day intensive SMP certification course, which covers every aspect of the Scalp Micropigmentation business. This course will build the essential skills and confidence you need to succeed in this industry.

Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills to confidently produce incredible results for their clients. From initial client consultation to final application, this course will guide you through an entire fail-safe process, step-by-step.

You will learn the exact methodology trainer Rob James uses on a daily basis to garner his ultra-realistic results and his advice on how to run a busy and successful practice.

Training is held at one of two locations throughout the year, Advanced Scalp studios Vancouver and Meraki Beauty Bar Burnaby. The course consists of three days of intensive, practical in-studio work with two live models, plus a fourth “observational” day spent one on one with Rob James in his busy Vancouver clinic. This one-on-one session will allow you to observe an SMP session and ask questions.

ABOUT ROB JAMES

Born and raised in England, Rob James now calls Vancouver Canada home. Rob James was introduced to the world of SMP in 2017 and opened his Vancouver clinic in 2019. It was the best career move to date.

Rob James is undoubtedly one of North America’s busiest and most in demand SMP artists. He is known for his ultra-realistic hairlines and detailed, subtle work. He has successfully completed well over 2000 SMP procedures to date, making him one of the country’s most experienced artists.

New artists trained by Rob James will benefit from hands-on-training and on-going mentorship that doesn’t end after certification.
